Materiaal: Kurk                  Afkomst

Materiaal: Garen, suikerkristal     Tijd

Het kristal groeit langzaam  tot het moment aanbreekt dat je de ketting gaat dragen. Door onze lichaamstemperatuur smelt het suikerkristal en brokkelt de ketting langzaam af.

De ketting maakt dementie beeldend.

Materiaal: Synaps papier    Veroudering

Een theepot gemaakt uit een vel papier. Tijdens het thee drinken vormt de theepot zich naar de gebruiker.

Er ontstaan kreukels door gebruik, maar de functie van de theepot blijft.

Materiaal: Porselein, eiken, tin  Knopen

Driedelige knopen serie gemaakt van echte oer Hollandse materialen.

Door middel van de gaatjes in de knopen kan de gebruiker zijn eigen patronen maken.

Material: Potato, carrot, onion, leek, parsnip, asparagus, pepper, AGF Class 3 eggplant, strawberry, apple, pear and linen

With this project people are informed about the large amounts of fruit and vegetables that are rejected each season in a tasteful way.

I want to make these fruits and vegetables more visible to the consumers, so they can experience that there is nothing wrong with these products and that they don’t belong on the compost heap.

This goal is incorporated in a (cook) book, which is made of the rejected fruits and vegetables. The fruits and vegetables are processed into thin dried edible sheets that can be found in the book. They are the special ingredient of the recipes and therefore the icing on the cake.

The role of these Class 3 products is rotated by 180 degrees: from compost to sustainable nutrition/raw food.

This limited collection of bowls is a sequel to the AGF Class 3 project.

As the name suggests, the bowls are made of rejected fruit or vegetables. These fruit and vegetables have a deviation of more than 10 percent of the ideal image and are not offered to consumers. So in this collection you will find a fruit bowl made from apples or pears.

The bowls are protected against water with a natural coating.

Material: Rejected fruit and vegetables         NEW AGF Bowls

In this new edition of AGF Bowls there are bowls developed with different kinds of fruit and vegetables that create eye-catching colors. The colorful fruit and vegetable pulp are pressed and dried in molds at high temperatures. With this drying technique the bowls remain intact for years.

Beside the new colors you also have bowls with two or three pulp ingredients. So you get bowls with color blocks or double layers. For example think of one half of the bowl made of strawberries pulp and the other half made of apple pulp. Or the outside is made of eggplant pulp and the inside of yellow peppers pulp.

Material: Porcelain                                 Tastemaker

The name says it already... A cutlery that affects your taste. The cutlery set includes a spoon and a fork that will make you experience sweet or salty flavors more intense. The color, the material and the size of the cutlery are the outcome of research about influence and manipulation of flavor.

It appears that a light weighing, small and blue cutlery accentuates an extra salty flavor.  Meanwhile the heavier, longer and white cutlery accentuates the sweetness of your food. This type manipulation of our food is, beside this cutlery, a daily thing.
